Safeland USA is a volunteer organization used to monitor and improve orientation standards for land contractors and the energy industry. The organization is comprised of independent operating companies, industry associates, and educators. -

The one day Safeland Basic Orientation meets the requirements of OSHA, MMS, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron Texaco, BP, and 25 other leading oil and gas operations. Advanced training covers specific national and international regulations, and is required by many employers prior to beginning work duties. Following the training, each student is issued a picture ID from the Energy Training Council (ETC) with a barcode that tracks their certifications in multiple areas of industry education.
