Pharmacy Technician Program

Pharmacy Technician: Basic Prescriptions & Dispensing    enroll now

This nine-week course consists of 36 classroom hours and prepares students for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).

Curriculum includes instruction on Oklahoma state regulations, insurance restrictions, mathematics, applicable law, nomenclature, basic IV admixture, computerized pharmacy systems and skills needed to work in retail pharmacies and hospitals. Coursework includes classroom exercises and competency reviews.

Prerequisites for the class are a high school diploma or GED. Good math skills are recommended. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion of the class (75% or better).

The Pharmacy Technician program is taught by a certified Pharmacy Technician.

            NO CLASS Monday, Jan. 16 - Instead class will be held Jan. 17 and 18 of this week.
