A series of seven, three day clinics (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and one six day clinic, teaching: Cinema Production, Directing, Art Direction, Cinematography, Lighting, Make Up, Editing and Writing, will be held this summer in June and July.

In previous years, OFI has been a three week course of full immersion in the film making process, but this year, it will be designed as clinics, to let people enter the areas of filmmaking that interests them, and will require less time and tuition.

June 4,5,6 - Production Instructor: Gray Frederickson Cost: $450.00	Everything needed to know about organizing a project from script clearances, breakdowns, schedules, budgets, pre-production, accounting, labor relations, post-production, distribution, marketing, tax credits, rebates, etc.
June 11,12,13 - Directing Instructor: Greg Mellott Cost: $450.00	The theory and practical approach to directing a Movie, TV Show, or Documentary taught by an Emmy winning director.
June 18,19,20 - Lighting Instructor: Dave Green Cost: $450.00	The state of the art studio/sound stage at OCCC is equipped with a vast array of lighting equipment and automatic lighting consoles. Students will learn all aspect of lighting in the studio as well as lighting exterior shots.
June 25,26,27 - Cinematography Instructor: Dave Green Cost: $450.00	Students will have hands on training with the latest version of the new state of the art, RED Camera.
July 9,10,11 - Art Direction Instructor: Sean Lynch Cost: $450.00	Set Design, Set Construction, Props, Set Dressing, Scenic Painting, and sometimes, Costuming all fall under this profession. All of the above will be studied and learned.
July 16,17,18 - Make Up Instructor: To be announced Cost: $450.00	All of the techniques of make-up, hair styling and politics of dealing with actors and production, will be taught, as well as special effects make-up, air brush make-up, scars, bullet hits and special appliances for aging, etc.
July 20 - 25 - Editing Instructor: To be announced Cost: $550.00	A one week Avid Editing Systems clinic will provide students with entry level Avid understanding and training.
July 23,24,25 - Script Writing Instructor: Greg Mellott Cost: $450.00	Students will be taught all of the requirements needed for writing a professional screenplay, including format, structure, character development, target audience, and even copyright registration and script clearances. It will be taught by an Emmy Award winning writer/director.
