OCCC to host open house for prospective students

Preview Day to feature informational sessions and major exploration

Students and parents interested in learning more about Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) are encouraged to attend the college’s Preview Day event March 30, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Preview Day is an open house that gives prospective students a chance to explore academic programs and majors, learn about financial aid and scholarships and tour the OCCC campus. In addition, many campus services will also be featured on Preview Day. Students can learn about OCCC’s most popular learning labs, student life, student support services, the TRiO program and academic advising. Sessions will also be available on the college’s popular concurrent enrollment program that allows high school students to earn college credit while still in high school.

Faculty and staff will be on-hand from every academic division at the college. Featured majors include: art, journalism, public relations, digital cinema, digital media, diversified studies, music, automotive technology, business, accounting/finance, geographic information systems, computer-aided design, software development, cybersecurity, management information systems, psychology, political science/pre-law, biology, engineering, math, anesthesia technology, emergency medical sciences, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapy assistant, respiratory care therapist and speech language pathology assistant. 

Preview Day is free and open to anyone interested in attending OCCC. Participants should register at www.occc.edu/preview. The college will provide lunch to all registered guests.
