Weather Update - 6:12 am Saturday, Feb. 28

Due to inclement weather, OCCC is closed today, Saturday, February 28. All classes are canceled. This includes the main campus, FACE Center, Capitol Hill Center and Professional Development Institute (PDI). Events in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater, the Bruce Owen Theater and the Aquatic Center will still go on as scheduled, but all other activities have been canceled.

Please practice caution when coming to and leaving campus as secondary roads, driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks may be icy and slippery. 

Campus closings and delayed openings will be announced through local radio and television stations and posted on the college’ s website, Facebook and Twitter pages. They will also be announced through the college’s Campus Alert Notification (CAN) System.

Choirs of OCCC to Perform Final Semester Concert May 8

The Concert Choir, The Chamber Singers and the Symphonic Community Choir, all of Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC), will be performing the final concert of the semester Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater.

Music to be enjoyed that evening will include medleys from Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof and Phantom of the Opera, songs from The Beatles and familiar jazz songs, including "It Don't Mean a Thing" (If It Ain't Got That Swing) and "Route 66."

In addition, five songs from the standard choral repertoire and an original composition by an OCCC choir member will be presented, and Lisa Barsaleau and Ron Staton will perform a piano duet.
