OCCC Campus

Is your homeschooler about to graduate? Are they ready to make the leap into college life? The Office of Recruitment and Admissions at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) will host two Homeschool 2 College Workshops, Tuesday, Nov. 12 and 19 at 6 p.m. in the Keith Leftwich Memorial Library on the OCCC campus. Both opportunities to attend are offered free of charge.

"Homeschooling is a popular option for students in the Oklahoma City Metro Area," said OCCC Recruitment Director Jon Horinek. "These students are motivated and capable but navigating the transition to college can be challenging. This workshop will help home school educators and families prepare for the next step."

Those who attend the workshop will also learn:
• Admissions 101 for any college or university
• How to create homeschool transcripts
• ACT and SAT info
• Scholarships and financial aid information

For more information about the Homeschool 2 College Workshop, please call (405) 682-7515. To RSVP, email homeschool@occc.edu.
