OCCC Alumni and Friends

In a ceremony to be held Tuesday, Nov. 19, Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) will add nine distinguished college alumni to its growing list of honored Hall of Fame inductees. Seven men and two women were selected this year.  The event will be held on the OCCC campus at 6:30 in the evening.

The 2013 honorees hold positions in sales, newspaper publishing, health professions, communications, college teaching, online publishing, corporate public affairs, and community activism; all began their education at OCCC.

The 2013 Alumni Hall of Fame inductees are:

  • Tony Arango – New Systems Sales – TRANE, Inc.
  • Steve Coulter – Owner/Publisher – Mustang Times, Minco-Union City Times, Tuttle Times and the Choctaw Times
  • Robert Frantz, Jr. – Division President, Team Health Mid-America
  • Lacey Lett – TV and Digital Communications anchor/host/reporter
  • Sean Lynch – FVP Equipment Coordinator, Adjunct Professor – OCCC
  • Jennifer Peters – Professor of Nursing – OCCC
  • David Puente – Retired Dept. of Corrections, Community Volunteer
  • Patrick Riley – Owner/Publisher – TheLostOgle.com
  • Mike Thompson – Director of Government and Public Affairs – BP America

The Alumni Hall of Fame is a prestigious annual award that recognizes a select group of former students, showcasing their career and civic accomplishments over the years.
