COOMASSIE BLUE GEL STAINING SOLUTION:

· Make 100ml Coomassie Blue Stain; store tightly capped at room temperature

Instructions:

1. Weigh out 0.062g Coomassie Blue powder

2. Add 20mL methanol and 2.5mL white vinegar

3. Swirl until dissolved

4. Bring to 100mL volume with DI water

5. Swirl to combine

6. Use a funnel and coffee filter to filter the stain into a 125mL plastic storage

bottle
