ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE:

The Associate in Science degree is a transfer degree designed for the student who plans to enter a four-year institution upon graduation from OCCC.

Computer Science - UCO

This degree will prepare the student to enter a four-year institution's College of Math and Science or College of Engineering to pursue a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

This degree will prepare the student to enter a four-year institution's College of Math and Science or College of Engineering to pursue a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

Management Information Systems

This degree will prepare the student to enter a four-year institution's College of Business to pursue a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems.

Software Development

This degree will prepare the student to enter a four-year institution's College of Math and Science or College of Engineering to pursue a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

Computer Systems Support

This degree will prepare the student to enter the job market as a technical support professional

Cyber/Information Security

This degree provides students with the background needed to pursue a career as Cyber/Information Security Specialist with major retailers, manufacturers, government agencies, financial institutions, colleges and universities, service organizations and others.

Programming

This degree will prepare the student to enter the job market as a programming professional.

The program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions such as Web developers, Web designers, Web editors, or Web support personnel.

CERTIFICATES OF MASTERY:

The certificate program allows a student to work toward a desired goal in the specialization area of their choice. The Computer Science certificates listed below are part of a three-tier program that goes toward an Associate in Applied Science: Computer Science - Computer Specialist Degree.

Cyber/Information Security

This program is designed for students who wish to acquire skills necessary for employment in the cyber/information security industry.

Computer Networking  Support

This certificate program allows an individual to work toward an attainable goal of a Computer Networking Technician. For students who desire additional skills, it is the second phase of a 3-tiered program that will lead directly to an Associate in Applied Science: Computer Science - Computer System Support.
