A Little About Dan

Priceless

Dan is unlike any other mannequin you have been around before and will not be what you expect initially... Don't worry - he loves the attention he's been getting! Students that have come in to work with Dan are amazed at how life-like he can actually be... Dan breathes with real chest movement, his eyes blink, pupils dilate and constrict, and he can also "talk". Dan will respond "real time" to under and over dosage of medications. Medications that are administered to Dan are recorded on the computer during the simulation so that the instructor and students can look at the log after the simulation and to also track the simulator's responses. Dan has a huge heart/love for students - and all his pulses, too. To name a few of his best features:

  • Pharmacology and Drug Recognition System
    • Narcotics
    • Hypnotics
    • Neuromuscular Blockers
    • Cardiovascular Medications
  • Reactive Eyes
  • Chest Tube Insertion/Management
  • Needle Decompression
  • Lifelike Chest Movement
  • Pulses
  • Breath sounds/Heart Sounds
