Oklahoma Money Matters is a financial literacy program designed to serve as a clearinghouse of information and resources. An initiative of the Oklahoma Guaranteed Student Loan Program, a division of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, OKMM's goals include increasing awareness of the need for fiscal education, building knowledge of financial principles, sharing available resources and supporting the financial literacy efforts of partner organizations.
OKMM offers an AmeriCorps Education Award Program, through which AmeriCorps members are placed in host sites across the state to provide free financial education services in Oklahoma communities. Participating members can earn an Education Award from the National Service Trust to pay current college expenses or repay student loans.
