Info on some College projects:
- The Robert P. Todd Science, Engineering, & Math Center dedication was held on June 19th. The Division of Science and Mathematics has been making preparations for full usage of the spaces for the Fall semester.
- The Health Professions Education Center project has the steel structure almost complete. Making preparations for the roof decking, and slab work.
- The Arts Education Center floor slab is close to being poured. Structural steel has arrived for the project. Extensive rain has slowed the earthwork for the slab.
- The Theatre roofing repair project was delayed due to weather, and AEC piping work along the perimeter.
- Preparations are being made for the Labor Day weekend Arts Festival Oklahoma celebration. The site relocation is currently underway, with a totally revamped look and layout.
- The College's Printing Services is in the process of changing its functionality and processes in support of the College's faculty and staff. Upgraded space, upgraded equipment, and electronic processes are being incorporated. Full operational info to the College's customers will be coming soon.
- The "OCCC Coffee Shop" kiosk in the Main Building lobby is close to the grand opening for the Fall semester. Training of personnel, and last minutes preparations are being made.
- Making preparations to add lighting systems to the College's pond walking trails. A major upgrade to provide a safe area for our community's use.
- Completed the landscape project at the 74th & May monument sign. Stop to see how this corner of the campus has taken on a complete new look over the past several months.
- Making preparations to install the mosaic wall system at the OKC Bricktown canal.
