By Way of Introduction

Greetings and welcome to my personal website,

My name is Densel L. “Denny” Myers and I am presently the Director of Information Systems and Services at Oklahoma City Community College (enrollment ~14,000). 

“What,” you may ask, “is a Director of Information Systems and Services?”.

In short, I am the individual responsible for the effective functioning of all of our servers, operating systems and programs. The job also consists of overseeing the operation of our help desk. We operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

I have been at Oklahoma City Community College for 30 years.  In fact, I started my career here as a Professor of Economics.  Once the institution found out that I had been using this new thing called the “Internet” for many years, it was decided that maybe I needed a career move and I willingly accepted.
