Creating a WebCT ID and Adding Courses

If this is your first time taking an online course at Oklahoma City Community College you will need to create an account in WebCT to access your online courses. 

If you have previously created a WebCT user account, you should use that accout. Login to WebCT using your User Name and Password from the previous semester. If you have forgotten the user name or password contact Technical Support at http://www.occc.edu/distanced/technical.html 

 To create a new user WebCT ID:

1. Go to http://webct.occc.edu
   
   
2. Click on <Create myWebCT>
   
   
3. Type in your Personal Information: First name, Last name, Email address
   
   
4. Type in your Login Information.

Your WebCT id should be your first initial last name. If that Id has already been used, try your first initial, middle initial, and last name.

Your password must be at least 4 characters, and is case sensitive.

Type in your login hint

5. Click <Continue>
   
   
   
   
6. Type in your WebCT Id and password

Add Course 

1. Click <Add course>

2. Select <view by term> or <view by category> and click <Update>

3. Locate course and click < Self registration>

4. Select <add another course>, <go to course> or <return to myWebCT>
