Visual Performing Arts Center - Room 124
Flow, twenty-nine works from the collection of the Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, explores the imaging of water. Spanning more than a century, traditional landscapes to abstractions, created from a variety of media, including oils, watercolors, photographs, and prints, reflect our myriad associations with water. Represented artists include Barbara Frets Simmons, David Robbins, Joel Meyerowitz, Robert Morris, Wayne Thiebaud, and Peter Hurd. An engaging film and transitional soundscape are included in the exhibit.
Admission to and parking for the exhibit are free.
The Gallery is in the Visual and Performing Arts Center building VPAC, which is located on the west side of the OCCC campus at 7777 South May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73159.
Flow is a program of ExhibitsUSA, a national division of Mid-America Arts Alliance with The Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support provided by Cultural Programs, a Department within the OCCC Division of Community Development.
