Wind Energy Training Program

OCCC Announces Wind Energy Training Program

A new Wind Turbine Technician program will be offered this fall at OCCC. Students enrolled in the Wind Turbine Technician Certificate Program, will study basic electricity, industrial electronics, electromechanical devices, programmable controller systems, and instrumentation and control operations along with Wind Energy industry fundamentals. The program was designed to meet the needs of employers in this rapidly growing alternative energy segment and to offer students a solid foundation from which they can launch a rewarding new career.

AC/DC Fundamentals
SPEC 0100 #422 - Wednesday, February 24 - Wednesday, June 16 - 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Introduction to Wind Energy Industry
SPEC 0100 #423 - Thursday, February 25 - Thursday, April 22 - 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
