Introduction:

QuickBooks is a very powerful, easy to use accounting software program; however, the program seems to have limitations most users feel should not be restrictions. This Seminar focuses on a variety of 'work-arounds' that QuickBooks users can put in place to resolve many of these functional limitations.

Adding a Composite "Names List" to the QuickBooks Icon Bar
Identification of Missing and Duplicate Invoices
Edit Historical Paycheck Information (the hidden feature)

Course Content:

Taught using a blend of instructional lecture and demonstrations, this seminar will cover:

Review the QuickBooks "Names" lists (vendor, employee, customer and 'other')
How to add an Icon to access a composite list of all of QuickBooks names lists.
The problem(s) with Missing and/or Duplicate Invoice numbers
How to find missing/duplicate invoice numbers and resolve them.
The nightmares of entering YTD or After-the-fact Payroll information
The 'hidden' feature that makes it easy to enter or change Payroll data.
Ever wish other users who need access to your Chart-of-Accounts couldn't change it?
The way to restrict changes to the Chart of Accounts without limiting access

Prerequisite: Basic working knowledge of QuickBooks functionality and terminology

About the Instructor:

William "Bill" Murphy is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor who has been helping small business owners in Oklahoma get the most from their QuickBooks software since 1989. Bill's consulting firm, RRR, Ltd. specializes in helping clients with installation, set-up, use, training and problem resolution for QuickBooks and related Intuit Software. Bill is also a Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Point-of-Sale and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. He has over 30 years of teaching and instructional experience, and holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
