Keeping Your Data-file Fit

Introduction:

This seminar is designed for all QuickBooks users, and explains how you can improve the quality and efficient of your QuickBooks data-file. Most QuickBooks users find that over time QuickBooks slows down dramatically in performance, sometimes information doesn't match-up and sometimes data is missing. This seminar teaches valuable tools you can use to improve and maintain the quality of your QuickBooks data-file.

    • What you can learn from the F2 Key and F3 Key
    • The Verify Data Utility
  • QuickBooks Utilities - more than one method to rebuild your data
    • Using the PCF restore vs. the QuickBooks Rebuild-utility
  • Windows Utilities: De-fragment your QuickBooks data
  • Starting a new data-file vs. condensing an old data-file
    • When/How to condense a QuickBooks data-file
  • Q&A (additional time will be available following the seminar)

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is designed for any QuickBooks user, including accounting professionals, who wish to learn tips and tricks for customizing QuickBooks to improve user functionality.

Prerequisite: Basic working knowledge of QuickBooks functionality and terminology.

About the Instructor:

William "Bill" Murphy is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor who has been helping small business owners in Oklahoma get the most from their QuickBooks software since 1989. Bill's consulting firm, RRR, Ltd. specializes in helping clients with installation, set-up, use, training and problem resolution for QuickBooks and related Intuit Software. Bill is also a Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Point-of-Sale and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. He has over 30 years of teaching and instructional experience, and holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
