Oklahoma City Community College and the Oklahoma Safety Council recognize that companies and employees need to maximize productivity and payroll dollars while minimizing risks and liabilities.
This program is designed to help new and current safety professionals take control, and know with confidence that they and their company are in compliance with OSHA standards.
Participants will gain a greater knowledge of the compliance issues involved in the working industry. The program will also give them the opportunity to gain an understanding of their company's current level of compliance and identify areas for improvement. During the course, participants will be able to design an up-to-date safety plan for their company.
The Certificate of OSHA Compliance program is broken down into one day per month sessions; each session will cover two topics that will fulfill the requirements for certification. This effectively reduces an employee's time away from work for a full week unlike traditional 30 and 40 hour classes.
Upon completion, the participant receives certification and a certificate in the National Safety Councils OSHA Compliance Series Program, OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Card, and 4.8 CEU's.
