Monthly Brown-Bag Workshops for Writers
Bring your lunch and set in on workshops that improve your reading and writing skills in analysis, research, and documentation. Check-in with our lab staff and find out about the dates and times of our next workshop.
Writers' Workshops will be at noon each day on the following days:
Sept. 8: Critical/Literary Analysis
Oct. 13: MLA Formatting and Documentation
Nov. 10: Rhetorical Analysis (ethos, pathos, and logos)
Dec. 1: Rogerian Argument
The "One Community-One Book" project this year is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The Communications Lab will be hosting weekly book conversations during the month of October. Every Wednesday from 11:00 am-12:00 pm we will discuss literary elements and rhetorical strategies of Bradbury's work, so please join us for coffee and discussion.
