ECHO 2.0 is the Communications Lab's interactive tutoring service available to all current OCCC students. ECHO 2.0 uses free online chat services and video devices to connect with students face-to-face and conduct tutoring sessions in real-time. Unlike other tutoring services, there's no waiting on a paper to be returned with an editor's comments. All you need to get started is a computer with internet access and an internet chat service. ECHO 2.0 recommends the use of Skype. No webcam is required.
Tutoring sessions should take between 30 and 45 minutes. You can contact us ahead of time with our web form. Please call the lab at 405-682-1611, ext. 7379 and let a tutor know if you need assistance.
For more information on getting started on ECHO 2.0, download the ECHO 2.0 Instructional Sheet.
