Certification Process:

1. Eligibility determination.

  • Complete an application
  • Take a pre-assessment test
  • Schedule an appointment with an Education and Employment Coach to review your application

2. Complete 270 hours of training, including instructor lead training, computerized and hands-on simulation, hands-on trouble shooting in the following areas:

  • Electric 
  • Gas
  • Steam
  • Refrigeration
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • OSHA 30 Hour
  • Job Readiness Skills
  • Job Retention Skills

3. Meet all course objectives and pass your final exam with an 80% or above.
