Description: Through study, discussion, and classroom/laboratory activities, the student will examine the development of sensory motor, cognitive, and psychosocial skills necessary for an individual’s occupational performance from birth through adolescence. The student will also acquire and demonstrate Occupational Therapy skills and techniques used in therapeutic intervention for selected deficits impacting occupational performance. Level I fieldwork is included in the course.
