Organic Chemistry Laboratory
Prerequisites: CHEM 2124 with a grade of “C” or better.
This laboratory course is intended for science and chemical engineering majors as well as students seeking to enter the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine. Students will master common laboratory techniques used to synthesize, separate, purify, and characterize organic compounds.As part of the coursework, you may have the potential of being, to some degree, exposed to hazardous material. If you are pregnant, wear contact lenses or have other specific health concerns, you should consult your personal physician for advisement concerning your enrollment in the course.
This course replaced the laboratory components of CHEM 2115 and CHEM 2125 beginning Fall 2009)
