Introduction to Poetry
Prerequisites: ENGL 1113

This course is a study of poetry as literary art with emphasis on understanding, recognizing, and appreciating poetic forms and techniques. Students will interpret, analyze, and evaluate poems from a variety of literary periods and cultures.

This course satisfies three credit hours of the General Education Humanities requirement for all Associate in Arts, Science, and Diversified Studies degrees.
