Prerequisites: ENGL 1113 Earned at least a ‘C’ in CD 2533
Description: Students will demonstrate skill in guiding young children and providing for their health and safety in a group setting. Students will also demonstrate the ability to plan and execute developmentally appropriate activities in all curriculum areas. A minimum of fifty-six contact hours is required, which must be completed in approved on- and off-campus early care and education facilities at discretion of instructor. Students must meet pre-laboratory requirements. AAS majors must document a minimum of 100 clock observation and contact hours with children in a variety of settings, including the workplace.
