FUNDAMENTALS OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCE
Prerequisites: MATH 0303 or adequate math placement test score and ENGL 0203 or adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures.
3 CREDITS Credits
The course begins with a brief but comprehensive review of balance of payments and international monetary arrangements. Foreign exchange markets, the risk of foreign exchange fluctuation, and different strategies for managing foreign exchange risk will be discussed. We will then concentrate on analysis of operational and strategic financial decisions of MNCs, including fund raising, working capital management, capital budgeting, financial structure, cost of capital and international project evaluation.
