INTRODUCTION TO EASTERN THOUGHT

This survey course is designed to introduce the student to the major religious and philosophic systems of the Asian world. After completing the course, the student will be able to accurately describe and discuss the historical development and major concepts of Hinduism, Buddhism (including Zen), Confucianism and Taoism.
This course satisfies three credit hours of the General Education Humanities requirements for all Associate in Arts, Science, and Diversified Studies degrees.
