Luis Ascot
Luis Ascot, long recognized as one of the great pianists of our time in Argentina and Switzerland, will present a lecture and piano recital during his visit to Oklahoma City Community College. Luis Ascot has said that, "Music is the language that transports and connects the many cultures of the world and binds us all as part of an integral fabric of expression." In 1988, Luis Ascot was the first pianist invited to present a recital on the legendary Steinway of Glenn Gould during the important festival celebration organized in Canada in honor of the celebrated pianist.
