When you're ready to apply for financial aid, follow the steps below and you will be well on your way.

Apply for financial aid online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov as early as you possibly can. You can apply on or after January 1 for the upcoming academic year (fall, spring and summer). You can also pick up a paper copy of the form from your high school counselor, any college or university or any public library.
Wait for your award letter from the College's Financial Aid Office - the letter will tell you what to do next.
Track where you are online. Go to occc.edu and click on the Student Records Login button at the bottom of the page to access MineOnline - it's great and convenient! Once you are logged in, click on financial aid status. It tells you where you are every step of the way.
