In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 the Oklahoma City Community College Safety and Security are giving notice of a violent crime act reported to have occurred on the Oklahoma City Community College Campus.
On June 5, 2008, Safety and Security became aware of and confirmed a reported Armed Robbery on the property of Hillcrest Green apartments north of the OCCC property. The offense occurred on Wednesday, June 5, 2008, at about 3:25 a.m. The suspects in the case have not been located and therefore pose a potential on-going threat to the campus community.
REPORTED OFFENSE:
Armed robbery of a taxi driver in the parking area of the Hillcrest Green apartments.
SUSPECT:
Hispanic male, approximately 5'8", wearing a black beanie cap, blue and white coat, and gray jogging pants.
It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the OCCC community. It is the duty of the institution to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near campus.
