TIMELY NOTIFICATIONS

Possible Threat to the Community
"Your Right to Know"
May 20, 2008

In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 the Oklahoma City Community College Safety and Security are giving notice of a violent crime act reported to have occurred on the Oklahoma City Community College Campus.

On May 20, 2008 Safety and Security became aware of and confirmed a reported Armed Robbery on the NE Corner of OCCC Retention Pond. The offense occurred on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at about 10:25 p.m. The suspects in the case have not been located and therefore pose a potential on-going threat to the campus community.

REPORTED OFFENSE:
The male and female victims were walking around OCCC Retention Pond near the NE Corner when they were approached by 2 black/males that assaulted and robbed them at gun point. Both victims were able to walk to the Dollar General store located across the street and summon help.

SUSPECTS:
2 black/males, mid to late twenties, were driving a large white sedan.

It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the OCCC community. It is the duty of the institution to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near campus.

If you have any information that might be helpful in this investigation, contact the Oklahoma City Police Department (Robbery) at 405- 297-1132.
