Important LinksWelcome to Oklahoma City Community College's pandemic flu homepage. This site is part of OCCC's overall emergency management plan. OCCC works with The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma County Health Department to be a designated vaccination site in the event of a pandemic outbreak of influenza.
OCCC places high priority on the health and safety of students, employees and their families. National officials believe the best strategy and early defense against an influenza pandemic is to have response plans in place that can best prepare for and respond to potentially devastating consequences.
Like all emergency preparedness plans, this is a constantly changing website as new scientific and social advances are made to contain and control a pandemic. The State Department of Health will be in the lead in responding to a pandemic and this site will constantly be updated to include all of the latest information from them, as well as local and national agencies.
We encourage you to review this information and share it with your families to be prepared in case of an emergency.
