Employers looking for a way to reach thousands of potential employees in a single event are being urged to sign up their businesses for the 2008 spring job fair at OCCC.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, is the largest job fair in south Oklahoma City. Each fair attracts more than 100 employers and is open not only to OCCC's 15,000 students, but also the entire Oklahoma City community.
The fair registration fee is $100, which provides a 4 X 6 table, two chairs and a continental breakfast and hot lunch for two employment recruiters. Additional meals may be pre-purchased for $10 each.
Space is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to approximately 70 spaces for general employers and approximately 30 spaces for health employers. Electric hookups and interviewing rooms are available if requested. Employment recruiters may not sell any products during the Job Fair or leave recruitment literature on the premises, but are allowed to hand out materials to job seekers.
