In a school assembly on Wed., April 9 at Capitol Hill High School, OCCC President Dr. Paul Sechrist and Oklahoma City School District Superintendent Sandra Park reminded students they have a chance to attend OCCC tuition-free in the fall under the OKC-GO! program.
First started in 1997, the OKC-GO! program has already helped thousands of Oklahoma City Public School District students achieve the dream of being able to attend and graduate from college. This year, OCCC began reaching out to students in Western Heights School District as well.
Students who graduate on time from an Oklahoma City or Western Heights public high school and attend OCCC the following fall semester are eligible for the program which provides students with up to three years or 61 hours of tuition assistance. Students can also take advantage of learning labs, personal mentoring and additional assistance.
