Corporate Learning at Oklahoma City Community College is offering classes in “Speed Learning,” a revolutionary new system for processing information. Participants may choose to attend a Speed Learning class from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 24, or Tuesday, March 6, at the OCCC Keith Leftwich Memorial Library, Room 401.
As created by William Song, Speed Learning is a course debunking common myths about information digestion and retention. The successful completion of this four-hour session prepares its participants for the constant informational challenges posed in today’s workplace.
“We have attended many conferences concerned with the future of the workplace and have learned that as information becomes more prolific and available, the concept of speed learning will become mandatory,” said Delores Jackson, director of Corporate Learning.
Speed Learning not only benefits the workplace but also educational institutions.
“Understanding new concepts, memorizing new information, learning new programs, remembering names - all can happen faster and easier than ever before,” Jackson said. “These are only a few benefits of this course.”
Cost for the course is $199.00 which includes all instruction and course materials.
