As chain drug stores continue to appear on every corner across the nation, so does the need for pharmacy technicians to fill jobs in the new stores. "Trained pharmacy technicians continue to be on the hot job list," says Doralicia Sandoval, Corporate Learning Consultant for OCCC. "The college stays on top of the job market and tries to meet the demand through education."

"Curriculum for this course includes instruction in state regulations, insurance restrictions, mathematics relating to job performance, applicable law, computerized pharmacy systems and other related skills. "
