OCCC Student Earns Film Award

An OCCC film and video production student received a top honor at the Bare Bones Script-2-Screen Film Festival held October 3-7, at Circle Cinema in Tulsa. Jay Sheldon's Paper People was awarded Best Picture in the student category. The Bare Bones Festival features films produced with a very low operating budget.

Sheldon's film will be one of several student films shown Friday, October 26 at the OCCC Film Showcase - A Celebration of Oklahoma. The showcase will be held in the College Theater beginning at 5:30, with the student films being shown at 9:30.
