Oklahoma City Community College is offering English as a second language (ESL) classes at the Latino Community Development Agency, 420 SW 10. The non-credit courses teach area residents basic language skills and will be offered again starting July 9 and 10.
The classes are ten weeks in length and meet in the evenings at the LCDA. Two experience levels will be offered.
ESL Beginner will be for students who are new to the program and have little knowledge of the English language. Classes meet every Monday and Wednesday, beginning July 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
ESL Intermediate is available to those students who have completed last semester's beginning English class and for those students who have a basic working knowledge of the English language. This class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The first session begins July 10.
Classes are free and open to the public. For more information about the classes or to enroll, call the Latino Community Development Agency at 236-0701.
