OCCC Offers College for Kids Program
Oklahoma City Community College is offering a wide variety of classes for children through its College for Kids program this spring.
Art and Music classes offered include Beginning and Intermediate Guitar, Beginning Orchestral Strings, Let's Draw, Let's Paint and Let's Sculpt. These classes are eight weeks long and are held in the evenings on the OCCC campus beginning the week of January 22. Cost for each class is $40.
Additional classes available through OCCC's College for Kids program offered at locations off-campus include Dance at Dream Theatre Dance Academy, Tumbling at Bart Conner's Gymnastics Academy, and Martial Arts classes at Troy Cheatwood's Family Martial Arts Center. These six-week classes are held on Saturday mornings or weekday evenings beginning January 20. Dance and Tumbling classes cost $50 and Martial Arts classes cost $65.
College for Kids is an enrichment program committed to academic and creative educational enhancement. Classes are taught by experienced faculty who encourage and challenge participants in a learning atmosphere that supports inquiry and exploration.
