
Oklahoma City’s own Arts Festival Oklahoma is scheduled for Aug. 31 through Sept. 3, 2007, on the campus of Oklahoma City Community College, located in southwest Oklahoma City. The 29th annual festival remains a free event, open to the public.
Featured entertainment for this year includes the Bellamy Brothers on Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and The Drifters and the Bop Cats on Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Presented by Oklahoma City Community College, the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the Central Arts Association and Women of the South, the festival is one of the top arts and crafts shows in the southwest, regularly drawing more than 30,000 people.
A community celebration of visual, performing and culinary arts, the festival includes:
Festival hours are Friday, Aug. 31, from 3 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
