- To find MAGAZINE and NEWSPAPER articles on your topic, use periodical indexes or databases. Some of these indexes and databases are online; others such as Readers Guide to Periodical Literature are found on the Magazine Area index tables.
For the example topic, you might start with EbscoHost or SIRS Knowledge Source on the computers.

Click on "Web Resources" on the Library web page
Choose "Search the Web," ten click on one of the search engines.
Type your subject in the lbox and click the "Search" button.
Choose a web site you like and click on it.
Look at the "Location" box.
Write down the complete address (URL) of that web site:
