To find articles on the computer … click on “Find Articles.” Then choose:

…EbscoHost –Huge collection of full-text articles and indexing, with 20 general and discipline-specific databases.
Academic Search Elite—comprehensive group of articles and citations to articles from magazines and journals in all subject areas.
CINAHL—journal articles in nursing, physical therapy, EMT, occupational therapy and related fields.
…SIRS Knowledge Source—selected articles from magazines, newspapers and many government documents. Good for social sciences, current issue topics.

WorldCat—books and other items in tens of thousands of libraries, all types, in this and many other countries.
ERIC—research papers, presentations, etc., related to education
…PubMed—scholarly journal articles on medical topics.
Newspapers on the computer:
…Newsbank—online collection of full-text newspaper articles from over 500 U.S. and World newspapers, 1991-now.
Daily Oklahoman—articles from 1910-now.
Tulsa World—articles from 1989-now.
...Proquest Historical Newspapers - New York Times and four other national newspapers, generally 1880's - 1980's.

…Readers Guide to Periodical Literature (big, green books!)—guide to articles in general magazines.
…Social Sciences Index—guide to journal articles on sociology, political science, anthropology, criminology, women’s issues, etc.
TIP: Paper indexes refer to different articles and go farther back in time than what’s on the computer.
