Our thoughts continue to be with the many people affected by the devastating tornado and storms in Newcastle, Moore and the south Oklahoma City metro.  Although we are fortunate that the OCCC campus was not damaged, some OCCC students, faculty and staff have been directly impacted by this terrible tragedy and others have family and friends that have been victims of the tornado.
 
Due to the far-reaching impact of the damage, Oklahoma City Community College will be closed on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. All classes and activities for Tuesday, May 21, 2013 are cancelled.  This includes the main campus, the Family and Community Education Center and the Capitol Hill Center.  We will keep you advised when classes and activities will resume.
 
This is a reminder that during inclement weather, campus closings, cancellations and delayed openings will be announced through local radio and television stations and posted on the college’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages. They will also be announced through the college’s Campus Alert Notification (CAN) System
 

Valentine's Day Dinner

Valentine's Dinner/Miss Brown to You Valentine's Day - Thursday, February 14, 2013

Enjoy a lovely, hassle-free Valentine's Day evening at OCCC with two options from which to choose:  a meal with entertainment by itself, or as part of your Oklahoma City Ballet outing.

The dinner includes a banquet-style served meal (2-3 couples per table) and musical entertainment by Miss Brown to You. The meal (Meat, Chicken or Vegetarian options) includes dessert, drinks (water, iced tea, coffee), sales tax and gratuity.

Current ticket holders to the Oklahoma City Ballet, February 14 performance, and Cultural Arts Series Subscribers may purchase tickets to the dinner at a discount as an add-on by calling (405) 682-7579.

The Valentine's Day Dinner is also included in a package that includes tickets to the Oklahoma City Ballet performance at a savings of up to $10 per person. 

Advance Purchase tickets to the dinner are required and must be purchased by Wednesday, February  6.

Dinner Menu

Choice of:

  • Chicken Capri -  Breast of chicken sautéed with mushrooms, artichoke hearts and capers in a delicate lemon olive oil white wine sauce, served with rosemary roasted new potatoes and asparagus;
  • London Broil – 10 oz, slow-cooked to perfection (pink center) and hand sliced, served with rosemary roasted new potatoes and asparagus plus horseradish and au jus; or
  • Eggplant stuffed with garden fresh vegetables , coated with bread crumbs and fried in light olive oil over risotto.

With:

  • Salad: Green salad with tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers and selection of dressings;
  • Dinner rolls, white and wheat, with butter;
  • Beverages: iced tea, coffee and/or water;
  • Dessert: Chocolate Cherry Jubilee or Cheesecake with Strawberry Toppings.
