OCCC’s health care programs are by acceptance only and are highly competitive. Regular admittance to OCCC is required and each program has its own unique application and requirements. Application to the program must be completed and submitted by the deadline date that is listed. Applications are available on-line and completed applications must be turned in to the Recruitment and Admissions Office.
The Traditional Nursing Program accepts applications for the Spring and Fall semesters. Baccalaureate to Associate Degree Nurse Accelerated Pathway (BADNAP) program begins in the Summer semester. CLP, OTA, PTA, and SLPA programs accept applications for the Fall semester only.
Classes will be selected from eligible applicants and ranked according to preference points and GPA according to program requirements. Remaining applicants will be placed on an alternate list.

Special admission procedures exist regarding advanced placement, admission of licensed LPN and Paramedic applicants for the nursing program, transfer of credit from other schools, and re-enrollment for students previously admitted into the program. *Should the college be closed on the deadline date for a health application, the deadline will automatically be extended to noon on the next operating business day.
