Certain programs have restricted admission and enrollment procedures. These programs currently include the Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Surgical Technology, and Respiratory Care. Special applications are available for these programs and must be completed and submitted by the deadlines listed on the individual application form which can be obtained in the Admissions Office. Only completed applications will be accepted. Applications are accepted for Fall and Spring programs in Nursing. The Nursing Career Ladder Pathway, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Surgical Technology programs accept applications for the fall semester only. Respiratory Care program applications for the full-time option are accepted for fall only (part-time option applicants are accepted for fall, spring and summer semesters).

Classes will be selected from eligible applicants and ranked according to preference points and GPA according to program requirements. Remaining applicants will be placed on an alternate list.

Special admission procedures exist regarding advanced placement, admission of licenses LPN and Paramedics applicants for the nursing program, transfer of credit from other schools and re-enrollment for students previously admitted into the program. Specific information regarding the procedures and eligibility for licensing can be found in the "Curriculum" section of the Catalog. For application forms, contact the Office of Recruitment and Admissions .

*An OSBI background investigation will be required of all students applying for special admission programs.
