The following forms are used to plan both the General Diversified Studies as well as certain other Diversified Studies with transfer requirements to various programs at other institutions. Be aware that both the Front page as well as the plan itself must be completed, signed, and sent to the Director of Multi-Divisional Programs. The forms will be verified for accuracy, signed, and then sent to Office of Admissions and Records. Failure to have an approved Diversified Studies contract on file may delay the application for graduation. Course substitutions are possible in some cases, but these should be approved and processed before applying for graduation and are required if a student is receiving financial aid.
Diversified Studies Degree Plan
The Liberal Studies degree plan is useful for planning your progress as you pursue a Liberal Studies major. You should work with your faculty advisor as early as possible to explore your options and receive guidance in making decisions. You may change electives on the plan without faculty advisor approval unless you are on financial aid which may require a faculty signature for course substitutions.
Liberal Studies Degree Checklist
Because each university has its own requirements, it is important to follow the right plan. Select the appropriate form based on your intended transfer institution and specific area (if there are differences).
